It all began with a childhood memory of a bus stop in a windy square in Jerusalem. The original idea was a sculpture of a bus stop that had been blown sideways by a powerful gust of wind. Eventually, that image evolved into two real bus stops.

Gust Stop is our new and challenging project in Be'er Sheva: two bus stops located at the entrance to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and at the entrance to Soroka Medical Center, designed as part of the city's Innovation District project.

When visitors step inside the shelter, a hidden ventilation system in the ceiling creates a gentle breeze, offering a welcome breath of air on a hot summer day. Solar panels mounted on the roof provide the electricity needed to power the system.

What began as a whimsical sculptural idea has become a piece of everyday urban infrastructure—one that brings together playfulness, comfort, and a small moment of surprise in the public realm.

תחנות רוח זה הפרויקט החדש והמאתגר שלנו בבאר שבע. שתי תחנות אוטובוס, בכניסה לאוניברסיטת בן גוריון ובכניסה למרכז הרפואי סורוקה בבאר שבע, שתכננו כחלק מפרויקט רובע החדשנות. כשנכנסים לתחנה מתחיל משב רוח ממערכת אוורור בתקרת התחנה, שנותן קצת אוויר ביום קיץ חם. על גג התחנה קולטים סולאריים, שמספקים את החשמל הנדרש. מה שהתחיל כרעיון פיסולי ומשועשע הפך לחלק מהתשתית העירונית היומיומית שמחבר בין משחקיות לנוחות, ומכניס למרחב הציבורי רגע קטן של הפתעה
