While often beautiful and interesting, streets filled with businesses, residential homes, and modern public transportation hubs can always benefit from the unexpected, the playful or the unconventional.
We are Ilan Behrman (architect) and Anat Behrman (artist), proud parents of four daughters. After winning numerous competitions and gaining experience in architectural projects as well as creating exhibitions and art installations, we decided to open a studio that combines both art and architecture. Our goal is to bring a fresh breath of air into the public sphere, transforming it into a special, interesting and ultimately fun place to be.
At the City Peloton studio, we combine visual concepts and ideas from multiple disciplines such as architecture, landscape architecture, art, product design and urban design. We offer a new look for private and public spaces and eventually planning and designing a unique site-specific urban installations.
And you might be wondering what’s behind the name ‘City Peloton’. While the City part is quite self-explanatory, Peloton in French means a group of racing cyclists, just like the ones we’ve all seen in the Tour de France. This is a group that must ride in perfect coordination, even if the cyclists are competing amongst themselves, in order to reach the finish line unscathed and in one piece.

אנחנו אילן וענת ברמן, אדריכל ואמנית, הורים לארבע בנות. לאחר שזכינו בתחרויות וצברנו ניסיון בפרויקטים אדריכליים ובהקמת תערוכות ומייצבים, החלטנו להקים סטודיו המשלב בין אמנות ואדריכלות - במטרה להביא רוח חדשה למרחב הציבורי והפיכתו למקום מיוחד, שונה ומעניין.
סיטי פלטון הוא סטודיו מולטי-דיסציפלינרי המשלב תפיסות ורעיונות ממגוון תחומים כמו אדריכלות, אדריכלות נוף, אמנות, עיצוב מוצר ועיצוב עירוני. אנחנו מציעים התבוננות חדשה באזורים ציבוריים, במרחבים מסחריים, פרטיים וציבוריים, ויוצרים מיצבים ייחודיים הנבנים לאתרים ספציפיים.
ולסיום, מה הפירוש של "סיטיפלטון"? סיטי זה עיר, ופלטון זה "דבוקה" בצרפתית: חבורת רוכבי האופניים הצבעונית (כפי שאתם בוודאי מכירים מהטור דה פראנס), שחייבת לרכוב בתיאום, אפילו אם יש תחרות בין המרכיבים אותה, כדי להגיע בריאים ושלמים לקו הסיום.
