The Tel Aviv Port boasts an expansive area with gentle breezes, plenty of sunlight, gorgeous sea views and a wooden deck that can host endless activities. So how come it doesn’t have a carousel?
The carousel that we proposed for the first Hebrew port, in the first Hebrew city, is, of course, the ‘First Hebrew Carousel’. It features a Hasakeh (a type of SUP board used by lifeguards since the beginning of the 20th century), a milk truck, Vespa scooters, horses (got to have some), and of course – a real Israeli-made Sussita, one of the first cars to hit the roads in the country. The carousel’s main pillar features a vintage advertisement from the country’s early days, and the loudspeakers play Hebrew music from way back when.
One carousel ride costs 12 NIS, and it is open year-round.
